About Linewise

Linewise captures how physical things are made, from the first design to the final assembly, and turns it into training data for frontier AI and robotics models. Our long-term aim is Physical RSI: recursive self-improvement for the physical world, where AI helps engineers design and plan, robots help build and inspect, and each generation makes better machines, lines and factories for the next. This role is part of Linewise Engineering, which captures the decisions behind a part: requirements, design iterations and analysis, process plans and inspection records, including rejected designs.

About the role

You'll run our engineering data programs with customers. You take each new requirement from scope to delivery: you turn it into a plan and a timeline, handle the contracts and paperwork, coordinate the engineering leads who run each data line, and keep the customer up to date until every delivery lands.

What you'll do

• Scope new data requirements with customers and agree what each delivery includes.
• Turn each requirement into a plan and a timeline the engineering leads can run with.
• Handle the contracts and paperwork for each program.
• Coordinate the engineering leads across data lines, and sort out conflicts on timing and capacity.
• Track every delivery against the plan and make sure it lands.
• Keep customers up to date, and raise risks early.

What we're looking for

• Experience running programs from scope to delivery.
• You keep many workstreams moving at once without losing the details.
• Strong written English. Your plans and updates are clear and short.
• Comfortable working across time zones. Overlap with US hours is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience running data or delivery programs for AI teams.
• An engineering background.
• Experience with data operations or annotation programs.

• You own your area end to end, from the first spec to the final delivery.
• You work closely with engineers, operators and researchers.
• English is the working language. We're based in San Francisco, with global operations.
