Data delivery lead

About Linewise

Linewise captures how physical things are made, from the first design to the final assembly, and turns it into training data for frontier AI and robotics models. Our long-term aim is Physical RSI: recursive self-improvement for the physical world, where AI helps engineers design and plan, robots help build and inspect, and each generation makes better machines, lines and factories for the next. This role is part of Linewise Robotics, which captures skilled physical work on real production lines: egocentric video, UMI data, dense action annotation and hand pose.

About the role

Our customers are frontier AI labs, and each one needs something different: a certain kind of part, task, scene or format. You'll own how each request becomes a delivery. You learn what the lab needs, curate the data that fits from our large database, and check the result against the spec before it goes out, so every delivery is high quality. You own this process yourself, from request to delivery.

What you'll do

• Learn each new customer requirement quickly, and turn it into clear selection criteria.
• Search and curate our database to build each delivery.
• Run quality checks on every delivery against the customer's spec, and fix or replace what falls short.
• Write short summaries and decks that show customers what they are getting.
• Keep our curation and QC process consistent from one delivery to the next.

What we're looking for

• You pick up a new domain and a new requirement fast.
• Strong with data: Python and SQL, plus spreadsheets.
• You're careful. You check the details, double-check numbers and say so when something looks wrong.
• An understanding of robotics or engineering is a plus.
• Chinese is a plus.
• Based in the US, with good written and spoken English.

• You own your area end to end, from the first spec to the final delivery.
• You work closely with engineers, operators and researchers.
• English is the working language. We're based in San Francisco, with global operations.
